Profile
I am a fully qualified and registered Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor working in Melbourne, VIC. Integrative Psychotherapy means I work collaboratively with my clients to design a bespoke approach to treatment that tailors the therapy to them, rather than the other way round. I work with individuals of all ages facing challenges associated with anxiety, depression, trauma and C-PTSD. I emphasise the importance of understanding and working with the root of the problem, not just the symptoms. I am also trained in a unique modality of Attachment repair (Three Pillar Approach, Brown & Elliot, 2016). As such, it is common for clients to come to therapy with issues in their close relationships, including challenges with boundaries and emotional dysregulation.
My approach is warm and person-centred, and I draw from a range of theories and passions, such as Attachment theory, Psychodynamics, Existentialism, Developmental Psychology, Systems theory, Literature and Philosophy. I am incredibly passionate about psychotherapy, not just as a method of integrating the past, but understanding ourselves in the present. As such, I also work with individuals who are seeking deeper self-understanding and growth. As a humanistic practitioner, I’m an advocate for my client’s interests. My role is to help my clients understand what kind of problem they face and, through dialogue, to disentangle and classify its components and meaning. I help them find the best solutions: an integrative approach compatible with their own belief system yet aligned with time-honoured principles of wisdom that help in leading a more resonant and fulfilling life.

NB: My practice is open to people of diverse backgrounds and identities, and I do my best to make this work accessible to people of different economic status, determining fees in part based on client means.
